Home is where the cats are

Rich and I both started new contracts this week (Rich's started on Monday; mine started Wednesday). Next week we'll both be 5 days a week. The kitties don't much care for this and have been demanding a lot of attention in the evenings when we get home.

We don't have the kind of cats that get huffy when we leave them for a while; our cats actually get a bit clingy. "We love you!" they say. "Where could you go that is better than here? Here is where we are! Everything good is here.

It's difficult on all of us to have the hoomans out of the house for 11 hours a day.
