Treasured Moments
Hearts Gladness is... treasured moments.
Presenting four brief sketches of treasured moments I've collected over the past month. I decided to post them today, on Valentines Day, as a way to say "I Love You" to my dearest furries.
Musical purrs. Soft plush beneath my hands, Murrs of contentment. Trills. Meaningful eye contact. Vibrato under my fingertips. Head bumps. Petting, purring, skritching, loving.
Two soft paws on my knee, a furry face looking up at me, a warm furry body stretching to be picked up and cuddled. Mwrrp?
Sleeping kitties. Cats curled up in balls, stretched out on the back of the couch behind my head, stretched long and flat between my knees. Cats swirled like pudding in kitty beds. Kitties with nose tucked under tail, with paws curled, with head back and tummy up. Soft kitty murmurs, kitty snores, sleepy mutterings. Kitties chasing Elysian Field mice in their sleep.
Listening to the rain and wind as a storm lashes the house, feeling very glad that all my loved ones are snug and warm and safe inside, especially our former rescue kitty who probably knows more abut rain and storms than he would care to remember.
