Squirrel's 4th Anniversary
On Sunday, April 23, 2000, Rich and I drove over to a cat show in Pleasonton, CA, to see the various kitties and to bring home the (then) newest member of our family, Holdermaines Pink Squirrel. We had met Squirrel a week or so before, but he had been registered in this, his first and only cat show, and we were happy to give him this chance to compete. (We were also happy that he didn't excel, as it might have been more difficult to get Farell Holderman to give him up under those circumstances!)
Squirrel rode home on my lap. Our other cat show acquisition, a 7-foot cat tree, rode home on the roof.
