Sneaky, Devious, and Underpawed

I was sitting on the couch, reading the manual for our new cell phone when Bebop hopped onto my lap. A few minutes later, I found a page in the manual that looked like it described exactly setting I wanted to change so I decided to get up and get the phone to try configuring the setting more to my liking.

This required that I move the cat.

I moved the cat?!

Hrmph! His thought balloon contained some words I didn't think he knew!

Over to the other side of the room I went, while Bebop watched me from the other end of the couch... I got the phone and headed back. Bebop hadn't moved.

Then I turned around, preparatory to sitting back down and quick as a cat (i.e., with grace, dignity, and obvious purpose) Bebop walked right behind me and sat right down in the spot where I was going to sit.

Oh ho. Yes. Well. Duh.

I apologized for being a fink. I apologized for moving him off of my lap. I rubbed his ears. Bebop accepted apologies and skritches as his due (while Rich and I laughed). He surely showed me, he did! That'll teach me to unceremoniously move the cat!
