Happy Anniversary to my Marshmallow Fluffy

Five years ago today, on a Sunday afternoon, we drove across the Bay to a cat show in San Ramon where we formally adopted a sweet red shaded silver boycat we had met two weeks earlier. We came home that day with a new kitten on Rich's lap and a 7-foot-tall cat tree strapped to the roof. (It's nearly impossible to attend a cat show and not buy something for the kitties.)

Happy Anniversary to our most wonderful Pink Squirrel. In honor of the occasion, Squirrel and I had a lovely nap this afternoon, at his request.
