Our house (like many houses) has an interior door into the garage. It is important that the door to the garage remain closed or guarded lest the cats get into the garage.
Our cats (like many cats) are indoor-only. Thus it is especially important that the cats never get into the garage if one of the doors to the outside is open!
We installed pneumatic door closers, but these slowly get less reliable over time. So....
"Harry Homeowner" (Rich's alter ego) installed a set of sensors and one buzzer. Now, if either of the doors to the outside is open, a buzzer will go off if the inner door is open as well.
Bebop did not appreciate the testing phase. His eyes got big. His ears swiveled. He became Very Alert.
This is NOT catable!
