Helpers

The rate at which the laundry can be folded is inversely proportional to how much help I get. Today, I had three helpers.

Raven likes to hop into the laundry basket and make himself comfortable. If there are clothes in the basket, he rearranges them to his liking. If the basket is empty, he likes me to drape a shirt or towel over the top.

Bebop likes to lie on the as-yet not-folded stack of t-shirts that have been laid out on the bed. It's fine with him if I keep stacking shirts on top of the pile, building a Bebop sandwich.

Squirrel, in contrast, positions himself nonchalantly on the bed, next to the piles of folded t-shirts, apparently ignoring the folding process.

Until...

Along comes a shirt he particularly likes the look of. Then SWOP! Down comes a large marshmallow paw to grab the shirt and he wrestles it into submission.

Bebop had an especially busy day today. Rich was sorting papers in his office at the same time as I was folding t-shirts. Bebop takes his supervisory duties very seriously and divided his time between lying on the shirts I was (trying to) fold vs lying on the papers on Rich's floor.
