Squirrel has a very long tail. He's a happy cat, so he generally keeps his tail up perpendicular.
My arms are not abnormally long, but my fingers reach to mid-thigh. That makes Squirrel's tail just high enough, and my hand just low enough, that I can reach down and gently grasp his tail tip without bending my knees. And then we can walk across the room, or down the hall, me holding the tip of tail os so gently. Just walkin' along.
